2018 was a busy and highly successful season for Purton Ladies. They won a very close S&D Evening League beating Shrivenham to the title on shot difference. This was sweet revenge for 2017 when the positions were reversed.

Alison Fail, Chris Mitchell and Sue Crouch won the County Coronation Triples and were runners up in the Benevolent Triples.

Following their victory in the National Ladies’ Triples at Leamington in 2017, the club were honoured when Alison, Chris and Julie Jones were selected to represent England in the British Isles Championship series held in Belfast during 2018. They beat Scotland in the semi-final and Wales in the final, and subsequently Alison was invited for an England trial in September.
