Eight players from over Wiltshire came to play their Quarter and Semi-Finals at Purton Bowls Club on Friday 30th July. We are extremely excited to have both Chris Mitchell and Julie Jones reaching the quarter finals.

It was going to be a tough night as Chris was up against Linda Young and Julie was playing Laura Laytham. Chris finished her game first winning 15-10 followed by Julie winning her first game 15-12 both progressing to the Semi-Finals where Chris would now play Jean Collier and Julie would face Sue Cooke, 2 Purton players aginst 2 experienced Box players. Julie finished her game first winning 15-12 followed by Chris winning 16-12.

Chris and Julie will now play each other in the Wiltshire County Final on the 8th August 2021 at Wroughton Bowls Club and represent Wiltshire at Leamington on the 29th August 2021.
